Charity Status – at last!
The Friends are delighted to announce that the company which owns the Cottages has now been granted Charity Status. Trenance Cottages Newquay is its name and the Charity Number is: 1134308.
This will enable us to apply for grants which would not have been available to us hitherto. Importantly it underpins the sum of money which Heritage Lottery has allocated for us. We are busy working on the final part of our bid for this and hope to know by late Summer 2010 if we have been successful.
